HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh devoted his life to serving the UK and Commonwealth.
He made me so incredibly proud to be British.
At this difficult time, I know the thoughts and prayers of residents in Bromsgrove District, the UK and across the Commonwealth are with Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family.
This week, so many fantastic local businesses will have safely reopened to customers.
I know this will be a significant moment for many business owners, employees and residents.
Our incredible progress in the vaccination rollout has made this possible, with more than 32 million people having now received their vaccine.
I recently visited the Artrix Vaccination Centre and BHI Parkside in Bromsgrove to see their work first hand.
Meeting the frontline staff, volunteers and those working behind the scenes was incredibly inspiring.
Thank you to everyone who has made this effort possible.
