Town MP, Sajid Javid, has praised the work of volunteers who contributed to the Poppy Wall at the Bromsgrove Methodist Church.
The display has returned for the third year in a row and this year highlights the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Thousands of poppies have already been handknitted and donated, with Sajid Javid MP paying tribute to the “extraordinary effort” that made the display possible.
Sajid Javid said:
“Once again, local volunteers and residents have worked together to produce a fantastic tribute to our glorious dead and those who served”
“It’s an extraordinary collective effort and as always, I feel incredibly fortunate and proud to represent our community”
“Although we won’t be able to gather as we usually would, I know residents across Bromsgrove District will be paying their respects on Remembrance Sunday – and supporting the Royal British Legion and other charities if they can”
