As soon as I was reappointed, the tragic news of the Grenfell Tower fire in London broke out. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the residents and families of those affected by this harrowing event.
The Prime Minister has been clear - the Government stands ready to help in any possible way. We're determined to provide all necessary support for victims and stand squarely behind the affected communities.
In moments like this, it’s the light of the community which play an incredibly important feature in rebuilding society.
We are all so fortunate to share such a warm, supportive and strong community in our constituency and I’m so pleased I get to spend the next five years representing you again.
