Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid, is urging local residents to back local businesses and shop local this Christmas.
The call to action follows his visit to the Bromsgrove Christmas market, which is hosting local businesses and attracting visitors to the High St.
The MP met with stallholders at the market and also had the chance to meet the Bromsgrove Rock Choir, who performed a festive service.
Bromsgrove District Council is waiving all fees in nine of its car parks on two weekends in December (Saturday December 4 and Sunday December 5 & Saturday December 18 and Sunday December 19.)
The MP said:
“We have fantastic small businesses right across Bromsgrove District and I am urging all residents to give them your support this Christmas.”
“Shopping locally is a great way to support the community and helps back employment and economic growth as we build back better from the impact of the pandemic.”
